The Picea Glauca, commonly known as a white spruce is a tall pyramidal-shaped evergreen with blue-green needles with a white waxy coating. The white spruce is a native tree in this area bring lots of attraction for wildlife, such as birds and butterflies. This tree can tolerate a range of soil types and moisture levels. The white spruce prefers full sun but can handle some shade, and is very cold hardy.
